Handelsgold

Die Marke Handelsgold gehört zum Portfolio vom deutschen Traditionsunternehmen Arnold André. Bereits 1935 wurde der Markenname geschützt, kriegsbedingt rief man jedoch erst 1946 Handelsgold ins Leben.

Getreu der ursprünglichen Idee „Qualität für jedermann, zu Preisen für jedermann“ setzte man die Preisgestaltung in der Nachkriegszeit. So verriet schon der Produktname den Preis, beispielsweise Handelsgold Nr. 10 kostete 10 Pfennig und Handelsgold Nr.15 zu 15 Pfennig. Dieses Konzept war so einprägsam, dass man daran 20 Jahre lang nichts änderte.

Nicht nur die erschwinglichen Preise, sondern auch diverse Werbemöglichkeiten wie Rundfunk und Print wurden genutzt um Kunden zu begeistern aber auch Bauchladenverkäuferinnen die die Tabakerzeugnisse anboten.
