Dirk Heinemann Pipes

Dirk Heinemann is internationally one of the most renowned pipe makers of our time. He comes from near Hanover, where his workshop is also located. He discovered his passion for pipe making at a young age. After training as a carpenter, he completed a five-year course in product design at the University of Hanover, which he successfully completed with a diploma. This well-founded training forms the basis for the high-quality technical implementation of pipes as well as for interesting and aesthetic design.

Dirk Heinemann manufactures all pipes entirely by hand. Starting with the first ideas, drafts and drawings through to the selection of the briar wood, the cutting out of the basic shape, the drilling, the finishing touches, the hand-made applications and the stems, which are made by hand from solid material. Each pipe is an individual one-off with outstanding smoking properties.
