Nils Bräutigam Barbarossa Rotbart

Nils Brautigam, a freelance artist from Eichsfeld in Thuringia, has made a name for himself in the fields of painting, sculpture and especially as a tattoo artist for many years. In 2017 he started his first attempts at making pipes. The outstanding workmanship, the unique design and the high quality of his pipes made him internationally famous in a very short time. There are two categories of pipes: Barbarossa, unfiltered pipes that are completely handcrafted, even the tobacco chamber is turned. Rotbart, pipes with a filter, in the manufacture of which a lathe is also used. The naming is due both to the local proximity to Kyffhäuser and to Nils Bräutigam's red beard. Both categories are characterized by the same quality of wood and workmanship and are personally made by Nils Bräutigam. The biggest difference lies in the existing filter chamber in the Rotbart pipes.
