Tom Richard Pipes

Tom Richard Mehret, a native of Karlsruhe, is the creative mind behind Tom Richard Pipes. He has been living in Tönning in northern Germany since 1998 and has devoted himself with great passion to the manufacture of pipes since 2003. Thanks to early contacts with renowned German pipe makers such as Rainer Barbi, Cornelius Maenz, Reiner Thilo and Paul Becker, he was able to continuously improve and refine his skills and techniques. The result is solid craftsmanship where the pipes are not only aesthetically pleasing but also smoke exceptionally well. Each piece is made entirely by hand in its own workshop, from the selection of the briar wood to the final finish. Even the stems are not prefabricated, but individually cut from solid material.
