The name Miriquidi, derived from Latin, means "dark forest" and was the name of today's Ore Mountains in the early Middle Ages.
The region is still covered by dense forests that seem enchanted. The leaf canopy allows little light to go through the tall trees. The ground is covered with moss and ferns. In winter, the snow-covered landscape looks like something out of a fairy tale.

We chose a blend of Virginia and Burley with a slightly increased proportion of Black Cavendish. The aroma of nuts, like those fresh from the nutcracker, creamy caramel and Erzgebirge pastries will please you and those around you. The taste is mild with a pleasantly bitter cocoa note and a slight sweetness at the same time.
