Dante

Savinelli Dante

Dante Alighieri was an Italian poet and philosopher of the Middle Ages. He lived from 1265 to 1321. Because of him, Italian was able to rise to become a literary language and replace Latin, which had dominated until then. He is considered the father of the Italian language. His best-known work is the Divine Comedy, which was also written in Italian.

In his honor, Savinelli created a limited edition pipe. On the 700th anniversary of death, it is limited to only 700 pieces worldwide.
