Spuma maris - Latin for meerschaum. Meerschaum has the featur of being able to absorb a lot of condensate and of being very tasteless.
After the delivery of Meerschaum 2023 was stopped, a new insert was developed in collaboration with well-known mineralogists, which, like Meerschaum, is based on silicate.
The brand new, white "VAUEN lining" is a logical further development of the Meerschaum insert. Attention was paid to very good fire resistance, food safety and excellent moisture absorption. It is odorless and tasteless.
The silicate insert of the Maris 715 provides extra cool, dry and pure smoking pleasure.
