Just as flat as a flounder is, yet with room to spare for tobacco, thanks to the oval drilling of the bow. Originally this very old pipe shape has been designed to help the gentleman who fancied a smoke now and then to store the pipe in his pocket, but these days it is still a fashionable way to carry ones pipe. On the shank is a band made from 925 sterling silver located.
