Oak and maple from local forests are not only a beautiful material, but also particularly sustainable and efficient due to the short transport routes and the renewable raw material. In furniture construction, too, more and more local wood is being used. At the Louis pip, the oak was smoked and made into a ring. This leads to a dark look with considerable optical depth. Together with the light maple, there is a fantastic contrast.
