more product details
León Jimenes is backed by over 100 years of family tradition and one of the oldest factories in the Dominican Republic. In 1903, Eduardo León Jimenes, then 18 years old and the son of a tobacco farmer, founded the La Aurora cigar factory. The company remains owned by the founding family to this day. La Aurora claims to be the oldest cigar brand in the Dominican Republic.
As a tribute to its founder, León Jimenes was introduced as a brand in 1987, characterized by a smooth tobacco blend and encased in light Connecticut wrappers.
The Petites Blond are cigarillos from the Dominican Republic with a prominent vanilla flavor. Their Ecuador Sumatra wrapper encloses a Brazilian binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Peru. These cleanly crafted short fillers with a sweetened mouthpiece offer up to 20 minutes of smoking time and are pre-cut for immediate enjoyment.
