Stanwell is experiencing a triumphant rebirth! The European rights to this legendary Danish brand—long distributed by the Scandinavian Tobacco Group—have been acquired by Kopp Pipes. Founded in 1946 by Poul Nielsen, Stanwell revolutionized the industry by creating the world-famous "Danish Design"—a tradition that is now returning to specialist retailers, featuring original tooling, classic shapes, and modern 9mm filter technology.
For decades, the Stanwell H.C. Andersen has ranked among the truly legendary pipe series from this traditional Danish brand. Named after the world-famous author Hans Christian Andersen, the series stands out thanks to its timeless, quintessentially Danish design and a unique feature: a highly versatile system that caters to different preferences.
Each model comes with two stems. Using the long ebonite stem transforms the pipe into a classic churchwarden - perfect for relaxing in your armchair, keeping the smoke cool and ensuring an unobstructed view. For life on the go, the short acrylic stem can be fitted in an instant. A refined metal ring on the shank adds a polished, premium touch, creating an elegant visual contrast between the bowl and the stem.
