more product details
Tom Richard Mehret, born in Karlsruhe, is the person behind Tom Richard Pipes. He has lived in Tönning in northern Germany since 1998. He has been making pipes since 2003 - and very successfully. Early contacts to German pipe makers such as Rainer Barbi, Cornelius Maenz, Reiner Thilo and Paul Becker resulted in a constant improvement and refinement of his skills and technique. Due to his solid work, the pipes are not only beautiful, but also extremely easy to smoke.
From the selection of the briar to the finish, each specimen is completely handcrafted in its own workshop. The mouthpieces are also not prefabricated blanks, but are completely cut from the solid material.
The pipe, made entirely by hand by Tom Richard, is technically of the highest standard. The bark of the briar is clearly visible on the underside.
