White Elephant is known as a solid manufacturer of pipe filters and pipe cleaners from Ettenstatt, Franconia, founded by Robert Maderholz. In Germany, White Elephant is the sole producer of pipe cleaners. There are only 3 manufacturers in all of Europe.
However, the company's roots lie in pipe making. Robert Maderholz produced pipes from 1945 to 1984. Later they specialized in filters and over the years also in cleaners.
With the help of the Kopp company, pipes were added to the range again and, in 2023, pipe tobacco.

Pipe smokers have known meerschaum for centuries for its ideal smoking properties. Heat-resistant and absorbent, the material is not only suitable for pipes, but also for filters.
Two heat-resistant ceramic caps and chlorine-free paper make this filter easy and effective to use. For a mild and dry smoke.
Superflow filters contain 15% less material, giving them a pleasant draw resistance.

Tolle Filter
Ich habe mir diese Filter auf blauen Dunst bestellt, da meine Vauen Aktivkohle zur neige gehen und bin wirklich positiv überrascht worden. Ich rauche leider oftmals sehr feucht, aber da kommt nichts durch. Der Filter ist voll, der Mund ist trocken. Der Zug ist angenehm leicht im Gegensatz zu den Filtern von Vauen. Werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen und kann sie nur wärmstens jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einer Alternative ist.

Ich wollte die Supermix Filter mal versuchen und war wirklich überrascht um wieviel leichter der Zug der Pfeife dadurch ist, ohne dass, meiner Meinung nach, die Filterwirkung verloren geht. Sicher nicht die letzte Packung.
