Poul Winsløw was born in 1951 and began making pipes at an early age. As an apprentice to Preben Holm, he refined and expanded his skills and developed a distinctive style. After Preben Holm was forced to close his workshop due to health issues, Poul struck out on his own and began crafting pipes under his own name. He has since achieved legendary status and worldwide renown; today, his pipes are synonymous with outstanding quality—due in part to the exceptional raw materials he uses. His designs often draw inspiration from classic shapes, which he reinterprets in his own unique way.
