Without Benjamin Barling there would be no barling pipes. When the silversmith opened his small manufacture in 1812, he could not have known that his name is still known over 100 years later. His silver work was marked BB. Continuing the tradition, the Barling Benjamin series has a wide sterling silver band - decorated with the initials BB and the crossed swords with a wreath.
