Nachdem ich eine halbe Dose hiervon geraucht habe, muss ich doch mein Urteil vom 15.4.23 revidieren.
Ein hervorragender, vielleicht etwas ungewöhnlicher Virginia ! Der Tabak ist wohl auch mehr strohig als brotig, mit etwas Leder und Holz. Dies sind aber nur die Begleiter einer feinen, konstanten Süsse, die den Gaumen verwöhnt und die meiner Meinung nach eine zarte Aprikosen-Fruchtigkeit hat.
Geraucht aus meiner Stanwell 62 B (hier aus dem Shop) – Garant für Rauchgenuss und mir geduldete Erlaubnis zum genüsslichen Kauen auf dem natürlichen Horn-Mundstück.

Brotig-Erdig im Geschmack, unproblematisch, was Stopfen und Abbrand angeht, mild bis mittelstark und magenfreundlich. Im Vergleich mit bekannten Ready-Rubbed oder Flake-Tabaken aber eher mittelmässig und wenig ausdrucksvoll. Trotzdem guter, befriedigender Smoke, allerdings stark überteuert.

Ich hatte auch das Pech eine Dose mit nur wenig Scheibchen zu erwischen. Dem Aroma tut das keinen Abbruch und ich forme sowieso kleine Kügelchen, die ich in eine "Acorn" Corn Cob stopfe. Ich kann den Vorrednern nichts hinzufügen. Höchstens noch einmal den kühlen Abbrand loben, der das pure Rauchvergnügen gewährleistet, vom ersten Zug an.
