Rattray's Pfeifen sind Qualität - kein Zweifel. Aber man muß sich des jeweiligen Zwecks der einzelnen Modelle bewußt sein.
Die Outlaw hatte ich als schnelle Lösung für den zeitlich eingeengten Morgenkaffee vor der Arbeit gedacht. Und auch wenn sie diese Aufgabe erfüllt - geschmacklich kommt die kurze Bauweise hier an die Grenze des Erträglichen; selbst der Lieblingstabak hat Schärfe und Hitze auf der Zunge... Wer von der Zigarette frisch auf Pfeife umsteigt, kann hier den Nikotinbedarf schnell decken, doch der Genußraucher sollte sich eine andere Pfeife suchen...
