Die Balsaholz-Filter nehmen unglaublich viel Feuchtigkeit auf und behindern dabei den Zug kein Bisschen.

Am Anfang habe ich die Dr. Pearl Junior von Vauen benutzt, bis ich gehört hatte das die Filter von Stanvell besser bzw. nicht so viel Aroma schlucken sollen, wie die von Vauen.Das stimmt auch und ich war mit Filtern von Stanvell bis jetzt sehr zufrieden. Jetzt lag meiner letzten Pfeife von Savinelli die ich gekauft hatte einige Balsaholz-Filter bei zum ausprobieren. Was soll ich sagen, ich bin begeistert von den Balsaholz-Filtern. Das Tabak-Aroma ist deutlich intensiver als bei Aktivkohle-Filtern. Was die Filterleistung betrifft, muss man sich natürlich auf die Hersteller Angaben verlassen. Aber in Zukunft kommen nur noch die Balsaholz-Filter von Savinelli in meine Pfeifen.
Ausgezeichnet und vielseitig

Ich habe eine Freehand, wo ein 9mm Aktivkohlefilter zwar hineinpasst, aber leicht zusammengedrückt wird und somit die Pfeife verstopft. Mit diesen Filtern aus Balsaholz kann ich sie aber problemlos rauchen, da der Filteraufbau ein ganz anderer ist. Abgesehen davon lässt er viel mehr Aromen durch, weshalb ich nun auch bei allen anderen Pfeifen nur noch diese Filter verwende.
