Pfeifenkopf ist für kleine, zierliche Hände überraschend groß, die vermeintlich grazil wirkende 'Spitze' unten am Pfeifenkopf ist in Kombination mit dem mittelstarken Bend dann eher schwierig mit Daumen- & Zeigefinger zu umfassen. Beim Umfassen des Pfeifenkopfs mit der gesamten Handinnenfläche erst baut man genügend Haltekraft auf, um den längeren Stiel aus Holz mit Acrylinnenwand sicher zu halten, weil das runde Mundstück vergleichsweise weniger Zusatzhalt per Biss gibt. Das ist bei dem langen Hebel und Gewicht der Pfeife aber auch sicherer und besser für die Zähne. Deutlich am angenehmsten zu halten beim Sitzen zu Tische ohne unfreiwilliges Muskelaufbautraining. Die Verarbeitung wirkt technisch und fachlich einwandfrei. In optischer Hinsicht kann meinem persönlichen Exemplar ein bisschen die bei Vauen nicht (?) seltene Kaltschnäuzigkeit beim Herauszaubern von Holzmaserungen angemangelt werden.Bei sehr nahem Hinsehen wirkt auch der Übergang zwischen Kopf- und Stiel-Holz farblich etwas abrupt und zeugt von Serienfertigung statt liebevoll-individuellem Finish.

Ich war erstaunt an dieser Schnittstelle zwischen Bruyerekopf und Pfeifenstiel auch minimalst kleine raue Stellen zu erfühlen.

Insgesamt jedoch ist die solide Qualität wirklich überzeugend und es ist ein großartig rauchbares Statement-Piece.

Very smooth touching. An amazing smoking tool. Whatever the tobacco is used, how wet it is, never comes fluids to your mouth. Very cool and dry smoking. I really enjoy smoke that piece of excellence. And ofcourse I enjoy to reading books with this churchwarden.
