Chacom

Founded in 1825 the traditional company Chapuis Comoy is the oldest existing pipe manufactory in the world. Within the mountainous and wild landscape of the french Jura, the pipe Mekka Saint Claude is located, where pipes for the first time were made of the burr of the Erica Arborea, better known as briar.

 

The owner of the company, Antoine Grenard, is a trained industrial designer and a direct descendant of the founder family of Comoy, who as well founded “Dependance” in London (Comoy of London).Aside a myriad of wonderful old models, there are a great deal of modern creations in Chacom`s assortment.
