Nørding

Erik Nørding's origins are not in woodworking. Since he is a trained blacksmith and engineer, he has always been fascinated by metals and machines. This is how he finally came to pipe making. An interesting interview with Erik Nørding about the beginnings can be found at Pipedia. Some well-known pipe makers started their careers in Erik Nørding's workshop. For example Poul Ilsted or Peder Jeppesen.

Erik's son Knud and Knud's son Victor now also work in the family business in Slangerup, just outside Copenhagen. Nørding pipes cover a wide range of freehands, handmade and series pipes.
