Trafalgar

The Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 laid the foundation for British naval rule. Admiral Nelson subsequently became a hero. The battle took place just a few years before Barling was founded. A fascinating long time in a historical context. In 1842 Nelson received a monument in the form of a 51 meter high column with a statue of the captain in Trafalgar Square in London. The column is guarded by four huge lion statues. As befits a hero, the Trafalgar wears a luxuriously worked silver ring and of course the logo with a lion's head embedded in silver.
