Kenne diese Tabakmischung als sie von der Fa.Dunhill hergestellt wurde. heute freue ich mich, dass Fa. Peterson diese Mischung weiterhin anbietet

Lange Zeit unter der Marke Dunhill angeboten, nun höchst erfreulicherweise unter der Marke Peterson wieder aufgelegt, erklärtermaßen "original recipe". Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, lautete unter Dunhill die Unterschrift: "cool with a rich flavour". Und das ist absolut zutreffend. Der Tabak raucht sich angenehm kühl. Rauchig und mit vollem Aroma, das an Nüsse erinnert. One of my favourites.

Die Beschreibung ist leicht irreführend, denn berühmt ist dieser Tabak natürlich nicht durch den Namen Peterson.
Ich hatte noch eine ältere Dose im Keller liegen (produziert in Dänemark Kohlhase&Kopp) - jetzt wird er von Peterson hergestellt.Ich nehme mal an, dass der Tabak noch genauso gut ist - kann das aber nicht garantieren.
Ich bin ja kein Latakia-Fan. Aber dieser Tabak hat es wirklich in sich ! Im Geschmack süsslich, nussig, leicht rauchig. Feiner Schnitt, der sich problemlos stopfen lässt. Am besten gleich in eine grosse Pfeife, die Wandung darf auch dünner sein. Der Tabak raucht sich in null komma nix weg. Aber ein Geschmack - einfach sagenhaft ! Und das lustige oder komische ist - ich rieche oder schmecke diesen Tabak manchmal ohne zu rauchen - das ist die Prägnanz dieser aussergewöhnlichen Mischung: er bleibt in Erinnerung. IMO ein eher leichter Tabak, der unglaublich Spass macht.
