Der Flake ist recht dunkel und hat ein Beeren-Aroma, ist aber das Gegenteil eines Aromaten. Die Konsistenz ist ideal, sofort rauchfertig (bei mir stets nach Rubbel-Methode). Und ab damit in meine Lieblings-Pfeife (Peterson 302 Lip mit mittlerweile unansehnlichem Ebonit-Mundstück).
Die ersten Züge sind etwas scharf und unangenehm. Dann typischer Virginia Geschmack: brotig, dorröbstlich - aber dies etwas verhalten - mit ganz leichtem Beerengeschmack, dabei dunkel-schwer, aber nicht zu stark - ein durchaus sehr befriedigender Smoke - ein Tabak des Typs "Träum dich weg".
Im letzten Viertel vielleicht eine Nuance von Schokolade.
Sollte man unbedingt probieren !
