Die knubbelige Form liegt sehr gut in der Hand. Die Maserung des Holzes ist wunder schön.

Diese Pfeife ist ein Monster!
Und das meine ich durchaus positiv.

Sie hat ein massives Mundstück, das angenehm im Mund sitzt. Kopf und Holm sind ebenso massig und liegen gut in der Hand.
In den Brennraum passt eine grosse Portion Tabak, dem sie massig Rauch entlockt, dabei aber sehr gutmütig bleibt.
Monströs eben.
Geschmacklich scheint auch einiges zu gehen, aber am Anfang ist halt auch Bruyere - Aroma dabei. Allemal besser als fiese Einrauchpaste und so weiß man auch wie das Holz schmeckt und es besser ist aufzuhören.
Meine anfängliche Befürchtung, daß sie zum Absaufen neigt, da das Zugloch oberhalb des Bodens mündet, hat sich nicht bestätigt. Der Boden war nach dem Rauchvorgang mit recht feuchtem Flake pfurztrocken.

Tolles Ding, ich glaub, ich brauche noch eine.
