The Harp is of particular importance. In days of yore harpists were very well respected in the population as well as amongst nobility. Frequently they even became advisors to the King himself. Under the British reign of Oliver Cromwell all pipes were destroyed by edict, which only resulted in the instrument becoming a special symbol of resistance and yearning for independence. Even in modern days the harp resembles the national sentiment for the Irishmen for example in their coat of arms.

The Irish Harp pipe is kept in a stylish dark brown shade with a colored acrylic stem. It is ornamented with a handcrafted band made from 925 sterling silver on which a real Irish harp is depicted.
