Dante Alighieri is considered the father of the Italian language. Through works such as the Divine Comedy he was able to make Italian the language of literature, which was previously reserved for Latin.

For the 700th anniversary of his death, Savinelli created a half bent brandy that is very comfortable to hold. There is a silver figure of Dante on the shank.
