An interesting, quality book with lots of useful info and photos
First, upon receiving the book I was impressed by it's weight and dimensions: it is quite a big book with lots of information and nice photos, quality paper and nicely produced. As for the content, I haven't read it yet, but from the 'diagonal' brief study of the book, I can tell lots of interesting and useful information is nicely presented, both for veterans and novice. I got the idea from the start that the emphasis is on the Scandinavian pipemakers... In any case, it is really hard to mention each and every pipemaker in the World as they are so many and new are emerging all the time... All in all: a very nice book I would recommend to every serious pipe smoker/collector. I am very satisfied with it.

Sehr schönes Buch,empfehlenswert für alle die so halbwegs englisch verstehen.
Ein sehr schönes Buch,vorallem das Format und die Qualität spricht sehr für sich,sehr gut gestaltet.Leider ist es vom Autor sehr einseitig abgehandelt,es gibt nur Dähnen,eigentlich werden viele Pfeifenmacher vergessen,auch wenn man nicht alle nennen kann.Die Klassischen sind eifach vergessen worden.Für Einsteiger meiner Meinung nach nicht empfehlenswert,nur für Sammler.
